What exactly is ParentBridge?
ParentBridge is a parent-first hub that turns fragmented school communications into one calm, organized inbox. You forward school emails to your private ParentBridge address, and we automatically label them, extract deadlines, create reminders (after you confirm), and deliver a weekly research-grounded learning tip for each of your children.
It's built for parents, not schools — which means it works with any school, any district, any platform, without requiring any IT approval or adoption on the school's side.
How do I get started?
Setup takes about 3 minutes. You'll create an account, add your child (name, grade, school), and receive a unique forwarding address. Forward a school email to that address and ParentBridge handles the rest.
No. ParentBridge is a web app. It runs in any modern browser on a phone, tablet, or computer — there is nothing to install.
Mobile apps for iOS and Android are not available yet.
How many children can I add?
As many as you need. Each child gets a color tag, and you can filter the inbox, tasks, and tips by a single child or view everything at once.
Do you sell my data or show ads?
No. Never. We don't sell data, we don't run ads, and we don't share your family's information with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party that isn't essential to running the service.
What data does ParentBridge actually store?
The minimum needed to do our job: your email, your password (hashed by Supabase Auth — we never see it), your child's profile (name, grade, school, class, colour, focus areas, your notes about difficulties, and optionally a teacher's name and email), the school messages you forward to us, the to-dos we create from them, and your reminder preferences. That's it.
Message bodies are stored already scrubbed — names, email addresses, phone numbers, SSNs and street addresses are swapped for placeholders before anything is written down, with the key to restore them held separately for your own app.
Forwarded messages are not kept forever. Each one is stamped with a 30-day expiry when it arrives, and a daily job permanently deletes messages past that point. One exception: each run keeps a random sample of up to 50 expiring messages, in their scrubbed form with the restore key destroyed, as an internal set for measuring extraction quality. Those are deleted when you delete your account. The to-dos and reminders you confirmed from a message stay in your account after the message itself is gone.
Does FERPA apply to ParentBridge?
FERPA applies to schools and their contracted vendors. Because parents — not schools — voluntarily share messages with us, FERPA does not directly apply to ParentBridge. However, we handle all data with equivalent care: Row Level Security at the database level, encryption everywhere, and strict access controls.
Can I delete my data?
You can delete your account yourself from Settings, in the Privacy section. You type your email address to confirm, and deletion happens immediately: every message, task, reminder, and tip is permanently erased along with the account, and it cannot be undone. Child profiles go with it, with one exception: a child you have shared with another parent transfers to that parent instead of being erased, so they do not lose access to a child they were invited to. Your own messages and to-dos for that child are erased either way.
You can also delete individual children from Settings at any time, which removes their messages and to-dos with them.
Can another parent see my child?
Only if you invite them. You can share one specific child with another parent by sending an email invitation from that child's profile. It expires after 14 days, only the exact email address you typed can accept it, and nothing is shared until they do.
Once they accept, they can see that child's profile, the school messages we've attributed to that child, and that child's to-dos — and they can edit and complete those to-dos alongside you. They cannot see your other children, any message we haven't attributed to a child, your reminders, or your tips.
Only the parent who created the child can invite or remove someone. An invited parent can leave, but cannot invite anyone else or delete the child. And if the creator deletes their account, the shared child transfers to the other parent rather than being erased — so a child profile can outlive the account that made it. Worth thinking about before you invite.
How accurate is the deadline detection?
Accurate enough to save you time, but never so trusted that we act without you. ParentBridge proposes deadlines and tasks — you always confirm or edit them before any reminder is scheduled. This is our confirm-before-remind principle: a safety rail, not a limitation.
How do the weekly tips work?
Each week, every child gets a practical at-home activity matched to their grade band and the focus areas you picked for them.
The tips are not invented on the spot. We maintain a curated library of peer-reviewed education and child-development studies, indexed by focus area and grade band. When a tip is generated, it is written from the studies that match your child, so the advice traces back to published research rather than to a guess.
Does my school need to approve ParentBridge?
No. This is one of ParentBridge's key design choices. Every competitor requires schools or districts to adopt the platform. ParentBridge works with any email and any school, because it operates entirely on messages you voluntarily forward to it.
Does it work with ClassDojo, Remind, ParentSquare, Seesaw?
If those platforms send you email notifications (and most do), then yes — forward those emails to your ParentBridge address and we'll label and organize them alongside everything else.
ParentBridge works on forwarded email. It does not log into school portals on your behalf.
What grade levels do you support?
Kindergarten through 12th grade, across the inbox, to-dos, reminders, and tips.
Tips are organised into four grade bands — K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12 — and six categories: literacy, math, development, wellness, organization, and engagement.
How much does ParentBridge cost?
It is free today. Everything described on this page is included at no cost while ParentBridge is in early access.
If we introduce a paid tier later, we will announce it in advance, and it will not take away access to what you already have.
What languages does ParentBridge support?
The app is fully translated into eight languages: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Swahili, and Lingala. You can switch language any time from Settings.
This marketing page is currently in English only. Translation applies to the app's own interface — ParentBridge does not translate the content of your school messages.
Does ParentBridge have dark mode?
Yes. Dark mode follows your device setting by default, and you can pin light or dark manually from Settings.

We built ParentBridge for parents, not advertisers. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
§1Who we are
ParentBridge is an independent product built for K-12 parents. We can be reached at privacy@yourparentbridge.com.
One thing to know up front: ParentBridge lets you share a single child with another parent, who can then read that child's school messages and to-dos in their own account. It is your choice, it is per child, and you can undo it. Please read §6 before you invite anyone.
§2What we collect
Account information: your email address, your name, and a password (stored only as a hash by Supabase Auth — we never see it)
Child profiles: the child's name, grade level, school, class, a colour tag, focus areas, free-text notes about difficulties, and — only if you fill them in — a teacher's name and email and a principal's name
Forwarded messages: the school emails you forward to your ParentBridge address
To-dos and reminders: records you confirm within the app
A device push token, if you turn on notifications
Technical data: IP address, device and app version, for security and debugging

§4How we use your data
We use your data exclusively to provide the service: organizing messages, detecting deadlines, scheduling reminders, and generating learning tips. We do not use your data to train AI models sold to third parties, serve advertising, or build profiles for sale.
Message text is passed to Anthropic's Claude — the only AI provider we use — to extract deadlines and actions. Before that, and before the message is written to our database, we run it through a scrubber that replaces children's names, your name, email addresses, phone numbers, SSNs, and street addresses with placeholders. Two honest limits: the scrubber is pattern-based and can miss an identifier written unusually, and mail that arrives for no known account is recorded in a quarantine area so we can diagnose the misdelivery. We keep the envelope only — to, from, subject, reason and time — never the body, and those fields are not scrubbed. Quarantine records belong to no account, are shown to no one, are never sent to the AI, and are deleted 30 days after they are created.
§5Who we share with
We share data only with essential service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Render (API hosting), Netlify (web hosting), Cloudflare (DNS and inbound email routing), Resend (outbound email, including co-parent invitations), Google Firebase (push notifications), Anthropic (the AI model that reads messages and drafts tips), Sentry (backend error monitoring — no message content by design, though an error report can incidentally carry request context), and GitHub Actions (runs our daily retention job on a timer and receives only counts back). No advertisers. No data brokers. No analytics or ad SDK in the app.
The only other way your data reaches a person is a parent you have deliberately invited to a child — see §6.
§6Sharing a child with another parent
You can share one specific child with another parent by sending an email invitation from that child's profile. The invitation expires after 14 days and can only be accepted by an account using the exact email address you typed — it is not transferable, and nothing is shared until they accept.
Once they accept, they can see: that child's profile (which they can also edit), the school messages ParentBridge has attributed to that child, and that child's to-dos, which they can edit and complete alongside you.
They cannot see: your other children; any message ParentBridge has not attributed to a specific child, which always stays with the account that received it; your reminders; your tips; or anything else in your account. They also cannot change the read, archive, pin, or label state of your messages, and cannot delete your messages or to-dos.
Who controls it: only the parent who created the child can invite another parent or revoke their access. An invited parent can remove their own access — they can leave — but cannot invite anyone else, cannot revoke the creator, and cannot delete the child.
If the creator deletes their account, a shared child does not disappear — the profile transfers to the other parent so they do not lose a child they were invited to. See §8.
Please think before you invite. Sharing gives another adult a durable view of that child's school communications. It is easy to revoke, but it cannot un-show what has already been read, and the child profile can outlive your own account.
§7How long we keep messages
Every school message you forward is stamped with a 30-day expiry when it arrives. A job runs daily and permanently deletes messages past that point, along with the mapping that could restore the scrubbed details.
One exception, stated plainly: before each daily run deletes a batch, it copies a random sample of up to 50 expiring messages into an internal set we use to measure whether our extraction is improving. Those copies are the already-scrubbed versions and their mappings are destroyed at the same moment, so the placeholders in them can never be turned back into real names or addresses — not even by us. They are not in your inbox, they are shown to no one, and they are not subject to the 30-day expiry. They are permanently deleted when you delete your account.
To-dos, reminders, child profiles, and tips you have confirmed are kept in your account until you delete them or close your account. A to-do can outlive the message it came from — that is deliberate, so your completion history survives the purge.
§8Your rights
You can correct your data from within the app, and delete individual children (and the to-dos, tips, and reminders attached to them) from Settings. There is no self-service data export today; for anything else, including access to what we hold about you, email privacy@yourparentbridge.com and we will handle it by hand.

§9Children's privacy (COPPA)
ParentBridge is designed for parents, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and children have no login and no way to interact with the service.
Everything we hold about a child was typed in by their parent: name, grade, school, class, focus areas, notes about difficulties, and optionally a teacher's name and email. No photos, no birthdates, no government IDs.
A child's information can become visible to a second adult account. If you invite another parent to that child under §6, that adult can read the child's profile, their attributed school messages, and their to-dos. It never happens without an invitation you send and they accept — but it is worth understanding before you send one.
§10Security
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Message bodies are stored already scrubbed, with the mapping that could restore them held separately and reachable only by our backend. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and stored only as hashes; we never see them.
We use Row Level Security in the database. Your rows are reachable by you, plus exactly what a child-sharing grant covers: a shared child's profile, that child's attributed messages, and that child's to-dos (§6). Nothing else crosses between accounts — reminders and tips never do. Invitations are stored only as a hash, so our database holds nothing that can be replayed as a working invite link.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

§1Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using ParentBridge, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
§2The service
ParentBridge helps parents organize school communications. We forward-process emails you send us, extract deadlines, surface curriculum tips, and let you share a single child with another parent (§6). Extraction uses Anthropic's Claude and no other AI provider. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of AI-extracted deadlines — always verify important dates with your school.
§3Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to create an account. ParentBridge is intended for parents and legal guardians of K-12 students.
§4Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@yourparentbridge.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
If you want another parent to follow one of your children, don't give them your password — invite them (§6). That keeps the rest of your account private.
§5Your responsibilities
Only forward school messages you have the right to share
Don't use ParentBridge for any illegal purpose
Don't attempt to reverse engineer or circumvent the service
Don't create accounts on behalf of others without their knowledge
Don't try to reach another user's data — except what a parent has deliberately shared with you by invitation (§6). Accepting an invitation and reading what it grants you is normal, permitted use, not a violation. Trying to widen it is.

When you invite someone, you're representing that you have the right to share that child's information with them. ParentBridge provides the mechanism; we are not a party to any custody or guardianship arrangement and we will not mediate disputes about who should have access. If circumstances change, revoke it.
If you delete your account while a child is shared, that child's profile transfers to the other parent rather than being deleted (§10). Everything else of yours is still erased.

§7Content and ownership
You own the messages you forward to us. We don't claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We only process it to provide the service.
§8Payments
ParentBridge does not offer purchases or process payments. We do not collect or store payment-card details, and no feature in the service can charge you.
§9Limitation of liability
ParentBridge is provided "as is." We are not liable for missed deadlines resulting from inaccurate extraction, notification failures, or service downtime. Always verify critical school deadlines directly with your school.
§10Termination
You can delete your account yourself from Settings, in the Privacy section. You type your email address to confirm, and deletion happens immediately: every message, task, reminder, and tip is permanently erased along with the account, in one all-or-nothing operation. There is no grace period and it cannot be undone. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

§2The marketing site stores nothing in your browser
The marketing site at yourparentbridge.com uses no cookies and stores nothing in localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB. It does not install a service worker.
Every request is first-party. The site uses no analytics, tag manager, tracking pixel, or third-party font, and it contacts no third party.
§3The app uses no cookies
The ParentBridge app at app.yourparentbridge.com uses no cookies, including when you are signed in. Authentication is not stored in a cookie.
The app does use limited browser storage as described below.
§4localStorage
When you are signed in, localStorage contains:
Supabase authentication session (sb-*). Supabase stores the signed-in session under keys beginning with sb-.
Offline feed cache (offline_cache.<userId>.<bucket>.v1). This is a read-only feed cache. The app reads it only when a refresh fails.
The following localStorage entries exist only during the specific flows that need them:
pending_email_verification.v1 during an email-verification flow.
pending_child_invite_token.v1 during a child-invitation flow.
§5sessionStorage, IndexedDB, and service workers
The app's sessionStorage contains flutterfire-flutter-fire-core-4.5.0 and flutterfire-flutter-fire-fcm-16.1.2. These are FlutterFire version markers.
The app stores nothing in IndexedDB. The marketing site does not install a service worker.
§6Preferences are not stored on your device
Theme and language preferences are not browser-storage preferences. theme_preference and preferred_language are columns on your server-side profile.
Child filter selections exist only in memory while the app is running and are never persisted.
§7Network services and fonts
The app contacts its own origin and Supabase.
When the app is displayed in Arabic, Chinese, or Hindi, it also fetches Noto font files from fonts.gstatic.com. This is necessary because Plus Jakarta Sans does not contain glyphs for those scripts. The app does not fetch those font files for its other languages.
ParentBridge uses no web analytics, tag manager, tracking pixel, advertising service, or cross-site tracking.
§8Push notifications
Firebase Cloud Messaging runs in the Android and iOS apps to deliver push notifications. It does not run in the web app.
§9Your choices
Your browser settings let you clear localStorage and sessionStorage. Clearing the Supabase authentication session will sign you out. Clearing the offline feed cache removes the cached feed that would otherwise be available when a refresh fails. Flow-specific entries can no longer support the flow that created them after they are cleared.
Because neither the marketing site nor the app uses cookies, ParentBridge does not display a cookie-consent banner.
§10Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the browser storage or network behavior of ParentBridge changes. We will update the Last updated date at the top of this policy when we do.

Accessibility Statement

ParentBridge is built for every parent, including parents using assistive technology, older devices, low-bandwidth connections, or a language other than English. This statement describes what we build to, what we have actually checked, what we found, and what we know is still wrong.
§1Conformance target
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the ParentBridge app and this marketing site.
“Target” is the accurate word. It is the standard we build to and measure against. It is not a claim that we currently meet it everywhere, and this statement is not a conformance report. §5 lists the places we know we fall short.
§2What we have assessed, and when
An accessibility claim is only worth as much as the assessment behind it, so here is ours.
This marketing site. Audited for the first time in August 2026. That audit found twelve WCAG 2.1 failures. All twelve have been fixed; §3 describes what is true as a result. Last assessed August 19, 2026.
The app. Last reviewed in full on May 13, 2026. Individual fixes have shipped since then — most recently on August 19, 2026, when fifteen controls smaller than our minimum touch target were enlarged. That was targeted work, not a new review. The app has not had a full accessibility review since May 13, 2026.
Both assessments were static analysis of our own code combined with manual checks in a desktop browser. §6 describes what that does not cover, and it is a significant list.
§3What is true on this site now
Every button and link has a name a screen reader can announce. None are left unnamed.
The whole page can be operated with a keyboard alone.
Windows that open on top of the page — including this one — keep the keyboard inside them while open, return you to the control you came from when they close, and close when you press Esc.
Twenty-five invisible controls were sitting in the keyboard tab order, which meant pressing Tab could move you somewhere you could not see. They have been removed from it.
You can always see where the keyboard is. The focus outline was measured at 11.3:1 contrast against every background it appears on.
Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 throughout, including in the places that previously did not.
Interactive controls have a touch area of at least 48×48 pixels, with the exception described in §5.
The page uses a single main heading, headings in the correct order, proper page landmarks, and a working “skip to content” link.
Words in another language are marked as such, so a screen reader pronounces them correctly rather than reading them as English.
If your device is set to reduce motion, animation is switched off.
§4What is true in the app now
Every interactive control has a touch area of at least 48×48dp, with the single exception described in §5.
Controls carry the labels that Android TalkBack and iOS VoiceOver read aloud. The labels are in place; see §6 for the limits of what we can say about how they sound in use.
The app follows your device’s text-size setting.
The colour system is designed so that text and interactive controls meet a 4.5:1 contrast ratio in both light and dark mode.
§5Known exceptions
We would rather name these than have you find them.
Two links inside sentences on this site. Every other control here has a 48×48 pixel touch area. Two links sit inside running paragraphs, where a 48-pixel-tall target would overlap the lines of text above and below and make the paragraph harder to use rather than easier. Those two are the size of the text they sit in. To be precise about the standard: WCAG 2.1 Level AA sets no minimum target size at all. The 48×48 figure is our own standard, taken from platform design guidance, and leaving a link inline follows the same reasoning that WCAG 2.2 uses when it exempts targets inside a sentence.
One dropdown in the app. The grade selector on the child form is 40dp tall rather than 48dp. Its height comes from a shared theme value used by other controls, so it is not a one-line change. It is the only control in the app below our minimum, and it is on our list.
Assistive technology. The largest gap is not a control or a colour. It is described in §6.
§6What we have not tested
Our assessments were static analysis of our own code plus manual checks in a desktop browser. That leaves real gaps, and we would rather state them than let “we target WCAG 2.1 Level AA” imply more than it should.
No screen reader testing. We have not run these screens with TalkBack, VoiceOver, NVDA, or JAWS. Labels are in place, but whether they read sensibly in sequence is a separate question and we have not answered it.
No text-scaling pass. §4 says the app follows your device’s text-size setting, and it is built to do that. Building for something and confirming it are different things. Nobody has stepped through the app at 200% text size to check that nothing overlaps, gets cut off, or scrolls out of reach. The May 2026 review listed that check as one it had not done, and it still has not been done.
No automated accessibility scanner. We have not run axe or an equivalent tool against either the site or the app.
No testing with disabled users. Nobody who depends on assistive technology has used ParentBridge and told us what breaks. This is the gap most likely to be hiding something the other three would not catch.
We are not attaching a date to closing these, because we do not have one and an invented date would be worth nothing to you.
§7Dark mode
The app ships a full dark theme. It follows your device setting by default, and you can pin light or dark manually from Settings.
§8Translation
The app interface is translated into eight languages: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Swahili, and Lingala. You can change language at any time from Settings.
Choosing a language changes the interface. It does not change everything you will see, and the gaps are worth naming.
The legal documents inside the app. The Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service are shown in English only, whatever language you have chosen.
Sign-in and account messages. The email that confirms your address or resets your password, and the errors shown when signing in fails, come from the service that handles our sign-in. They are in English, whatever language you have chosen.
Parenting tips are partly translated. The daily tips are written in the language you have chosen. The weekly tips — the ones that cite published research — are written in English only. Both appear in the same list, so a tip in English can sit directly beside one in your language.
To-do items are not translated. When we read a school email, the to-do we make from it normally keeps the wording of that email. A message from your school in French produces a to-do in French, whatever language you have chosen. When we cannot read the message that way, we compose a short title ourselves — a due date, or a plain School task label — and those titles are in English.

§9Changes to this statement
We will update this statement when the accessibility of ParentBridge changes, when we complete an assessment, or when a known exception is fixed. We will update the Last updated date at the top of this statement when we do.
§10Language
This Accessibility Statement is published in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only. If a translation and the English version conflict, the English version governs.
